How to tell if there is an iQuery relationship built

Hello everyone

Is there a nice simple way to determine what iQuery relationships have been built between the BIG-IP devices on our network?

We have an upcoming need to provide DNS and load balancing services using our LTMs and GTMs, however, there is some uncertainty on my behalf as to whether the LTMs and GTMs have an iQuery connection. We'd want to ensure this so that when we come to build it all up we can use the auto-discovery feature to discover the various Virtual Servers configured across the LTMs.

Thank you

  • iQuery uses TCP 4353. You could look at the connection table to determine established connections:

netstat -an | grep 4353 | grep ESTAB
