How to share self IP network with the Management IP network.
I have lab environment with single vlan. I am tring to congiruation F5 with management interface and one selfIP address. However I get the error. Here is the detail.
Self IP address: 10.28.80.141 netmast 255.255.255.0
Management IP: 10.28.80.140 netmast 255.255.255.0
See attached screen shot. is it possible that management IP and Self IP are on the same subnet. Or they have to be on a seperate network. Please response.
Thanks, RSS

RSS,
That's not an allowed configuration I'm afraid.
Best to create a dummy mgt IP and manage the big IP via the self IP.
Hope this helps,

I have followed the steps. I am not able to access web config using self iP. I have set up setting to allow all. I am trying using browser. When I change the management ip to dummy, do I need to create routing also ?

the segment of you management ip and self ip cannot be the same .. for ex:mgmt ip : 192.168.1.57 self ip: 10.28.80.140 or 141
mgmt route is different and tmm (traffic management route) is different.
