How to reset admin password on F5 BIG IP LTM 2000 v11.2.1?

I need help to reset the admin password in our F5 LTM, since I cannot login the default password anymore (weird).   Anybody can help me to do the step by step guide on how to do it?

Hi,

Do you know the root password? If not then you'll need to reset as per Vitaliy's instructions first.

If you do know the root password or you've reset it, then to reset the admin password you need to have an SSH / Console session. Login as root and type in 

tmsh modify auth user admin prompt-for-password
, it will then prompt you for a new password and then you will need to save this 
tmsh save sys config
