How to redirect users to an active node.

Using a 2 node pool, I want to configure an iRule: If I disable a pool node, how do I redirect users already connected to that pool to the other node?

what is the traffic?

this may not be an answer you are looking for. there is action on service down setting. it may be useful if you mark pool member down (e.g. using fake health monitor) instead of disabling it.

If you choose Reselect, keep in mind that the BIG-IP system is simply moving the established data stream from one pool member to another, without ending the transport layer connection to the original pool member, or initiating a new transport layer connection to the newly reselected pool member.
