i'm searching about if I have pool with node for all service , how can i monitor it , when I put one monitor it will have issue that all service will be down if the monitor service down ?

I am confronted with the same problem, have also a lot of tcp ports. Did you get any other suggestions ? At this moment I am thinking about making a specific monitor that will monitor one port with tcp-half-open. Will send update when tested. - nag_54823Mar 15, 2016

i don't think so , there is any other way other than icmp monitor in this case. - WillySep 01, 2016

Sorry for the late answer, but still not tested the icmp monitor. As long as only one server is in the pool and load balancing is not needed, I will not proceed with the test. Service is monitored by application checking on the virtual address.
