    There is no tool or process to migrate from Alteon to F5. load balancing process is different in both products.

     

    To migrate, the best way is to :

     

    • read the existing configuration of Alteon
    • create a document listing existing and expected behavior with conditions and actions
    • search how to configure the same or obviously optimized configuration with LTM product

    If your Alteon contains layer 7 rules, you need to convert to Local traffic policies or irules.
