How to insert " (double-quote) into stream target ?

Hi,

 

 

I would like to know if it is possible to insert double-quote character into the Target value within a stream profile. As mentioned by the GUI ,double-quote character is forbidden. So, by editing the bigip.conf is there any syntax to "cheat" and insert the forbidden double-quote and then re b load the conf ?

    Hi Nicolas,

     

     

    I'm guessing if the GUI validation prevents it, there is a reason. You might try wrapping adding a default stream profile and then specifying the source and/or target in an iRule. You should be able to use curly braces {} in a rule to do this.

     

     

    Btw, did you figure out what the error was with the stream expression after upgrading to 9.3?

    Hi aaron,

     

     

    I've tried with a "" directly into the bigip.conf and it seems to work for only one block (ie : @xxx@yy@) when I try to add a second "" in a second bloc after the first one, there is a parsing error during b-loading.

     

     

    Regarding my previous post, I still do not have an answer to that weird issue ...that is why I try an alternative way desperately...
