How to get rid of stream profile
I am using stream profile to replace http://host.abc.com/test.js by http://host.abc.com/public/test.js in HTTP_Response
I encounter the problem stated in https://my.f5.com/manage/s/article/K12558 but I do not understand the workaround stated
Is there any alternative to keep the existing function without using stream profile?
Thanks
I can remove iRule with a stream expression and stream profile according to following URL information.

Are you using a stream "profile" or are you using an iRule using a stream "expression"? I don't believe there is a viable alternative to using a stream profile if you are looking to replace all instances of http://host.abc.com/test.js with http://host.abc.com/public/test.js in the HTTP response.
If you are using an iRule with a stream expression, then take a look at this DevCentral Community comment . They said that there were able to find a workaround within the same iRule to get this to work without creating a front-end layered virtual server.
I have not tried it but combination of Modifying HTML tag attributes using an HTML profile and Configuring an HTTP profile to rewrite URLs so that redirects from an HTTP server specify the HTTPS protocol (10.x - 17.x) can be used but better just try to resolve the error as you said.

I am using irule with a stream expression while stream profile must be enabled on VS.
The link provided states the stream expression only.
