How to establish communication in between two internal isolated LAN's

Hello Experts,

Would need your some experts comment on my below requirement

Current VLAN setup

12.x.x.xExternal Public VLAN

172.x.x.xInternal Private VLAN

192.x.x.xF5 Management VLAN

10.x.x.xSNMP VLAN

Already working traffic

  1. Inbound & outbound (DNS lookup) working in between Internal & External VLAN’s
  2. Management working privately
  3. SNMP VLAN configured F5 with SELF IP (floating & non-floating) & able to ping trap manger server

Requirement

Would need to establish outbound connectivity from Internal to SNMP VLAN

My SNMP Trap Manager server located in SNMP VLAN & now requirement is the TRAPs generated by any server located in Internal Private VLAN will send it to Trap Manger server, since snmp & internal both are isolated LAN no communication in between though would need some expert comments about how we establish route in between Internal LAN outbound SNMP trap traffic towards SNMP_VLAN

Thanks in advance for your advice

Best Regards,

Sumit

  • A forwarding virtual server on the LTM should work for you. You can set it up to listen on your internal vlan and only allow certain sources. Read more about it here:
