How to enable response logging in WAF

Hey..

I am testing WAF features on F5.

Details of my test devices:

Type: Virtual

Ver:  BIG-IP 15.1.0 Build 0.0.31

I am testing some security features and so far able to trigger and see events under Security >> Event Logs >> Application >> Requests.

However, for any event, I cannot see Response data due to "Response logging disabled"

I tried creating new logging profile, but I don't see an option to enable "Response" logging. The only options I see for Application Security event logging profile are various "Request" Types.

I would assume logging Response data would be helpful to investigate certain events and/or decide if they are false positives.

Can someone advise on how to enable that?

Thanks :)

  • Hello Sayali,

You need to configure your logging profiles and display the Advanced configuration menu.

After, you could be choose "Response Logging" option .
