How to detect config sync status using iControl

Hi,

Is there some way to detect 'config sync status' using iControl ?

I would like to get this info using iControl?

 CONFIG SYNC STATUS --
     Status: 0 - Synchronized
     Last change (Self): 2005-06-30 13:54:02
     Last change (Peer): 2005-06-30 14:16:49
     Last Configsync: 2005-06-30 14:16:49

  • These values are stored in the internal database which can be accessed via the Management::DBVariable interface.

The values you are looking for are:

    "configsync.autodetect"

    "configsync.localconfigtime"

    "configsync.peerconfigtime"

    "configsync.localsyncedtime"

    "configsync.state"

Here's some sample code in perl to mimic the "bigpipe config sync show" command.

    !/usr/bin/perl

  • Hmm...

I've tried runnning this... Apart from perl suggesting that @dbValues[xx] would be better written as $dbvalues[xx] my F5's always return a 0 for autodetect... What exactly is this supposed to represent in the db? Because mine all have configsync autodetection between the pairs when you view the web GUI configsync settings...

    TIA
