How to delete a monitor that is in use

What is the best way to delete a monitor via the iControl API when the monitor is in use? I don't see a way to easily remove the monitor from whatever pool/pool members it's assigned to. If I just tr...

You can't delete a monitor that's in use. You'll have to remove it from pools/members before it can be deleted.
