How to check if any pool is Active or not.

Hi Experts, I am in process of implementing Blue\Green deployment model.So before i proceed with the deployment on any of the pool, how would i know if the pool ( Green or Blue ) is Active or Idle. ...

The REST API is your friend here... Or SOAP if you prefer that...

The path you want to look at for pool info is 'mgmt/tm/ltm/pool'
