Aug 26, 2008How come nobody responds to my posts?
I was very excited when I first began working with our f5 BIG-IP to see how much support there was here for me, but when I ran into my first real hiccup, my forum post remained the only un-replied to thread for quite awhile.
I worked around that issue after a few days, but am now facing another one. I'm sure I'm just missing a key concept somewhere, but the most frustrating thing is hearing nothing back on my issues. Everybody here seems to get a response to issues either from Joe or dmacvittie, or another community member within a day or so of posting. What have I done to engender the wrath of the gods so that everybody ignores me?
All I'm asking for is a response of some sort. "You're an newb, go read documentation on that feature ____" or "We're working on that feature" or something. Please?

Check your original post, the thread I referenced should answer your questions. Sorry the DevCentral experience started off poorly for you. This community is great, and there are plenty of helpful people willing to dive in. - JRahm

I appreciate the restraint...it's always easiest to lash out. Friendly always works with me, and as I am not employed by anyone to be helpful here, I'll usually only respond to grumpiness if the question is unique and will benefit the community.
