How can I save the updated configuration on the active F5 BIG-IP 1600 ?

Dear all,

 

How can I save the updated configuration on the active F5 BIG-IP 1600 ?

 

There seems have one button "Config Pending" appear on the administration webpage. Am I correct ?

 

Where will the button "Config Pending" appear on the F5 BIG-IP 1600 administration webpage ?

    Hi!

     

    The config is saved each time you click on an "Update" button in the GUI. I guess what you're really asking is how to synchronize the configuration?

     

    If that's it then follow these steps:

     

    • Click config pending
    • Then click on the device with the latest config
    • Sync device to group.

    Click the "Sync" button.

    Then, Should I check the box of "overwrite configuration" when I try to sync the updated configuration from one F5 BIG-IP 1600 to another F5 BIG-IP 1600 ?

    No problem. It depends on the status of the other unit. If it has also been changed lately you have to if you want to overwrite the config on the unit.
