High memory usage and sweeper aggressive mode activated
Hi all, my active F5 (5000) is currently consuming 83% memory usage, which is just climbing into the Red!

I have also noted a large number of the following messages appearing in the ltm log file.
Nov 24 08:56:15 juno warning tmm[13816]: 011e0002:4: sweeper_update: aggressive mode activated. (3333640/3921920 pages)

I run LTM/ASM/APM on the F5's and quite a few iRules.
Can someone please share some advice on how I can reduce the memory consumption?
Many thanks,
Anthony

Disable:
Reduce High Idle T/O values:
If your memory usage was significantly less just a few days ago, and you believe there's no reason for such high memory usage, open a support case with F5.

ok, I've removed one of the large logging iRules, but don't think this is going to make a difference.
I'm interested by the ASM logging though - We are being hammered on one of our policies so I'm hoping that if we can supress these requests we can bring the memory down. When you say Local loggin (ASM) do you just mean the default logging to the asm log file?
Many thanks for the quick reply.
