Application owner wants me to distribute HTTPS requests between web servers using custom HTTP header "x-client-r-id" value? The header value is GUID that should be hashed and converted to "1" or "2" and based on that value sent to the 1st or the 2nd web server.
I have never used iRules before. Any help would be appreciated!

There are a few questions that address similar concern like this one. You would have to explain if you are looking to persist based on header value or load balance based on the header value. If you are looking to load balance based on the header value, you can potentially look at the specific value and load balance. Try this too.
