Help configuring HA VLAN (F5 Newbie)
If you are using a single interface for multiple VLANs, only one of those VLANs can carry untagged traffic. The others must carry tagged traffic. So, for example, if when using the Setup utility, you configured the VLAN named "internal" on interface 1.1, and you want to also configure high availability on the same interface, you might just be better off telling the Setup utility to "use an existing VLAN" for HA (rather than create a separate VLAN), and select VLAN internal from the resulting dropdown list. F5 recommends that HA traffic should be on a dedicated VLAN with a dedicated interface. If that's not possible, then you can configure HA on any existing non-client-facing VLAN, such as the VLAN named internal that's produced by the Setup utility. Hopefully this makes sense.
