Healthcheck for ajp (Apache JServ Protocol)

Hi all,   I have to load balance ajp (Apache JServ Protocol) over 2 Servers.   What healtcheck should I use for that kind of protocol and do I have to consider something special?   Thx,   ...

Hmmm. AJP seems to be used for load balancing so I'm not sure why you would want to use it in combination with a load balancer! =]

 

 

I assume you have AJP running on some web servers and the F5 sits between those and some application servers?

 

 

If that's the case, I'd stop using AJP and use the F5 to balance between the web and app servers.
