Health Monitors POP3/IMAP over SSL
Hi all, is there a way to configure monitors pop3 and imap over ssl (ports 995/993)?
Thank you for your time.

If you go into the GUI for your BIG-IP and navigate to Local Traffic > and click on "Monitors" it will take you to your Monitors page.
At the top right of that page you will see a button that says "Create" click on that.
Once you are in that creation menu you can name your monitor and from the drop down box you can select POP or IMAP.
Once you select a type it will prompt you for the rest of the required configuration information.
HERE is a question that someone else had. It has a lot of good info to consider when configuring this monitor type.
Hope that helps! If it does please up-vote and select this answer, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Hi Dylan and Alessio,
I am using my GTMs to monitor an imap service running on port 993 on a node. On the same node we also have port 443 open, no issues when I set up an https or tcp monitor for port 443, it always stays on green.
But when I tried tcp, gateway_icmp, even udp to monitor port 993 on that node, it always drops, or at the best it flicks between red and green. It can NOT keep itself stable on green. I have tried with a customised IMAP monitor as well [no luck]
What else can it try to troubleshoot this? is anything that needs to be allowed on the node level?
