Health Monitor issue
Hi All,
Just a quick question regarding Health Monitors. tHE FOLLOWING APPLIES:
- I recented planned upgrade on Big-IP ver 12.1.1 to 12.1.2 and also attempted physical Big-ip 8900 ver 11.6.0 HF5 to HF8
In both of these attempted upgrades, the health monitors remained blue and not registering unless they were in a inband state. Basically anything other than an inband state would not register from the VS. I found below and wondered if it applied.
ID 247012 If you use a SIP or HTTPS monitor on a server that requires authentication using a certificate signed by a certificate authority (CA), the monitor must use certificates signed by a CA that the server recognizes. Do not configure a monitor using certificates signed by an Intermediate CA because the monitor does not send such certificates to the server. This occurs when using non-CA-signed certificates on SIP or HTTPS monitors that communicate with servers that require CA-signed certificates. Authentication fails. Use CA-signed certificates.
**Keep in mind that I have a test lab and the VE's are all currently running fine on 12.1.2 and they were upgraded from 12.1.0., but production VE's showed above.
Am I missing anything, as defaults are still get up as GET/\r\n
thanks
Jesse
