Has anyone tried......

Would like to know if anyone has tried to monitor some network drives using Windows UNC Path? Using an iRule I figure I can use the file exists command to check for a file on the network drive but if it doesn't fine the file or if the drive is unavailable can I use the iRule to make it as down? Has anyone tried this before and if so, can the provide an example.

    Hi,

     

     

    You won't be able to check if a file exist on the network with an iRule.

     

     

    You may need to have a look at iControl to do so.
