I am looking to see if anyone has done or has seen an iRule that will allow for external users access to be removed but still allow internal users access to the application.

NimbostratusIt would really depend on how you define internal vs external. A simple IP restriction would be the easiest, if your internal users would source from specific IP ranges. There are lots of examples of that in the iRule wiki (https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iRules.IP.ashx)
If you want to identify them by some other means, there are certainly ways to use ldap or radius too (look under: https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/iRules.AUTH.ashx)
