Hardware support and Software support - when do my 1600s need replacing?
I have some 1600 appliances and the end of life details are:-
- End of Sale 01/10/2015
- End of New Software Support 01/10/2016
- Platform End of Software Dev 01/10/2017
- Platform End of Technical Support 01/10/2021
- End of RMA 01/10/2021
The release notes for Version 11.x and 12.x say they are supported on 1600 hardware but version 13.x does not. So I understand that I can never go to version 13 on that hardware.
I'm running 11.6.1 software on them and the end of life details are:-
- End of software development 10/05/2021
- End of Technical Support 10/5/2022
- Latest Maintenance Release 11.6.1
So if I'm running 11.6.1 will F5 continue providing Hotfixes until 10/05/2021 and will those Hotfixes work on the 1600s?
(I can't find anywhere on the F5 website that clears up the position on Hotfixes).
