HA status after releasing offline an earlier active LTM
Hi Team,
I have a HA group configured in LTM. I am planning to forced offline the current active LTM directly with "run sys failover offline".After my activity I want to release online by "run sys failover online". Will this box come as active or standby initially? Will it negotiate with its already active system in the group and become standby again. Is there any chance of active-active scenario

Hello Bjorg.
Actually, it depends on your HA configuration.

The correct answer would be, when the device is realesed from offline then it stars to share communicacion with its pair trying to figure out which will be the active.
This means that with common ha configuration, the device will rise as standby, but if you have configured HA order with this device in first position, then it will be active.
Active-Active is only possible if you lose HA communication between pairs or you are facing a bug.
Let me know if this clarifies your initial question.
KR,
Dario.
