HA Configuration between 2 sites
Hello expert, i'm facing a challenge in configuring HA for LTM between 2 sites. The scenario is the following.
We have two Big-IP 5050 in Main Data Center and single Big-IP 5050 in DR, which will be used to load balance between the internal servers(Applications). All the Vlans between the two sites are extended (Same IP subnets in the two sites) for each application we have two servers in HO and one server in DR which we need to load balance between all of them in the following manner:
- Same virtual IP for the 3 servers for certain application across the the 3 appliances.
- If the two servers in HO is down, traffic needs to be redirected to the third one in DR.
So can we have a Cluster of two nodes in HO and a cluster of a single node in DR then group them together to a single cluster (i.e cluster of clusters), or they have to be all in a single cluster.
Appreciate your help as i'm stucked now.

cluster of clusters seems complicated and isn't really what BIG-IP is doing. clustering in general on big-ip can be done over more then just two devices easily.
a device group with all three devices in there and setting a HA order where the DR site is last seems like the way to go.
