NimbostratusHA configruation for ASM only devices
we have ordered two ASM only devices ( i2600) , to deploy them in HA Active/standby pair, do we need a LTM license

No, you don't need an LTM license to run them as ASM devices.
You will still have the virtual servers, pools etc but the pools cannot do load balancing ie there can only be one member in the pool. Other than that the basic functionality is the same.
