NimbostratusGTM/DNS between point releases?
All,
We're in the process of migrating from a 4000s to a pair of i4600's. The existing 4000s is part of a GTM Sync group which is running 12.1.3.6. I've installed 12.1.3.7 on the i4600 and have imported /massaged the config from the 4000s and all looks good.
Unfortunately in my reading I've found that F5 recommends that you run the SAME version of code between your GTM sync group. Since there's an existing node that will be running .6 but the new i4600's will be running .7 am I going to run into an issue? Or is it not a big deal?
To me it's just a point release so that's pretty annoying if it doesn't work, but looking for input from anyone that's dealt with this before.
It seems that downgrading is REALLY a pain! :(

There is a very good chance you are not going to run into any problems since this is just a minor code version. I have done similar upgrades in 11.x and 12.x upgrades. However, the difference in code version is short-lived and will exist during the maintenance window. I prefer to keep everything in the same code version and recommend either upgrading the old devices or downgrading the new devices.
