I have two GTMs synchronized between them using gtm_add and having both of them configured to belong the same Synchronisation Group [DNS -> Settings -> GSLB -> General]

AltostratusNo this is not normal. Config should sync either direction. Make sure TCP port 4353 is open on the addresses configured in the GSLB servers which represent your GTMs. Each GTM will connect to the other using this port.
