GTM Wide IP Load Balancing Precedence

The choice under wide IP is the choice made about which pool to use. The choice under Pool is to select which pool member to use. It is not a matter of precedence, it is 2 different choices.

Do you have multiple pools under the wide IP? If not, then it will select the 1 pool you have, and use Hop when selecting a member of that pool.

Thanks thats what I thought, my initial thinking was to use Topology, but I only plan to have one pool and under the pool have several servers to use, so I will use HOP load-balancing under pool to make selection based on the closest server.
