GTM Wide IP – pool preference list

I'm required to configure the following GTM and struggling. Any help would be appreciated. I've currently got this on Cisco GSS and looking to migrate to F5. Let’s say we have 4 pools A, B and C each representing a data center and we only want to return a DNS answer for one pool if the other is offline. For example: Prefer DNS response will be A, if A is down return B, if B is down return C which will probably be our maintenance page. Also if we’re returning the associated VIP of C and B comes back up the new answer for the DNS record should be that of B.

    At the WideIP level you want to use Global availabiltity. That will process your list of Members from top down unless the top one is unavailable, at which point it move on to the second and so on.
