GTM topology based on ISP

Hi all,

 

anyone's using GTM topology based on ISP here?

 

what i'm trying to do is simple :

 

 

traffic from ISP1 should go to GTM1

 

all other traffic should go to GTM2

 

 

the simple way is to use ISP AS numbers but the f5 cannot translate ASN to IP,

 

i'm gonna write a script that's gonna update the F5 with ISP1 IP segments

 

but i'm looking for a better way to accomplish that.

 

 

anyone knows how the ISP's such as AOL and China Telecom are configured on the F5?

    I was asked a similar request by a client of mine to do the very same thing. Unfortunately there is 100% foolproof way to identify which ISP owns a block. You could purchase a IP list from company (http://www.ip2country.net/order.html). But it's not always 100% accurate.
