GTM to GTM communication problem

We have 2 GTMs in our network. Both GTMs have Internal an External interfaces configured, they also have Internal and External views configured. The main idea was to use and GTM as a Master DNS server and another as a Slave. But it turned out that GTMs are able to communicate to each other over external interfaces only. Whenever I try to telnet from one GTM to another over Internal interface using port 53 I'm getting "no route to host". That prevents correct updates for the zones in Internal view.

Both GTMs are in the same address space. Port 53 is opened in "port lockdown" for both UDP and TCP. Other hosts in the network can reach both GTMs all right and some other DNS servers are getting correct updates for the appropriate views all right. It's only GTMs that can't talk to each other.

Any idea why it works that way?

Thanks.
