GTM persistance settings

This is a basic question,

 

I am planning to setup a GTM GSLB, below are the details

 

i will create a pool with servers 1.1.1.1 & 2.2.2.2 in round robin... (Ex)

 

Then that (pool) will be mapped to wideip, if i select persistance of 3600 seconds on wideip, how will it work...

 

if a user connects to GSLB, as per round robin he is resolved to 1.1.1.1, will he stay to the same server for atleast 3600 seconds if that session is active?
