GTM as Slave DNS & Reverse Lookup zone

Hi,

 

We have a 3 GTMs & are planning to use them as front end DNS servers. I-E all clients point to GTMs as there primary DNS servers.

 

 

What i have done is the following

 

1- On existing DNS servers allow zone transfer to GTMs

 

2- Create same zone on GTMs as a slave & define DNS servers to fetch the zone from.

 

 

This works ok for normal DNS queries. Name to IP Address

 

However when want to resolve IP to name doesnt work.

 

 

Checked on GTM cant see any reverse lookup zones (10.1.1.x) for the zone imported(example.com).

 

Checked on windows DNS server to see if reverse zone (10.1.1.x) can be transferred cant see any option

 

 

Help would be appreciated.
