CirrocumulusYou need to think about the GTM as been separated from the LTM, even when they are on the same devices.
The LTM can be in an active/standby configuration, but GTM will always be active.
The trick here is if you configure the GTM with floating or non-floating listener. The GTM listener is a LTM virtual server.
If you use floating, only the active LTM will process the traffic for the GTM listener.
If you use non-floating, the both LTMs will process the traffic for the GTM listener.
In relation with the GTM configuration, you configure the GTM server objects as if you have one device for LTM and another with GTM.
