GTM / LTM configuration for external/internal translation

Greetings -

My question on this topic is probably one covered before, but I wasn't able to find anything specific to my setup. My goal in this configuration is:

We have a GTM that has connections to 2 pairs of LTM's in our 2 main datacenters. We currently have a domain on our DNS server (CNAME entry) that is pointing to 2 external IP addresses, both pointed to the GTM.

my goal in this setup, is to configure the GTM with a WIP that will point the external IP's and eventually get a translation to 2 hosts with internal IP's, one server in each of our 2 datacenters.

The setup would be:

DNS CNAME redirects to GTM

GTM WIP config points / LB's to the LTM's in each of our DC's (in a LB/RR setup)

(unsure if it's possible to NAT/translate the traffic in the GTM to internal at this point or not)

LTM receives from the GTM

(LTM could possibly NAT/translate the external to internal IP's at this point?)

LTM then delivers the traffic to the internal host IP

I'm hoping that this makes sense at some point :)
