GTM ( Active/Stanby ) in DMZ

We have 2 GTMs ( Active /Standby ) in DC and 2 GTMs ( Active / Standby ) in DR. We want to configure them in server tab in GTM Configuration then we want to configure both of them as one device depending on floating IPs both in DC and in DR, where we need to monitor active unit only. is it applicable or not?

 

There is recommendation from an implementation Engineer that we should create two devices on each server GTM configuration to have full visibility for active and standby unit.

 

kindly advise which option is better.

    Better configure all the 4 GTMs under one DSC [Device Service Clustering] which will make all the GTMs to be in sync.

    FYI, After configuring all the 4 GTMs under one DSC Sync group, Individual GTM will be in Standalone state but will share the configuration with all other 3 GTMs.

     

    As per your organization setup, I suggest you to use DSC feature for GTMs.
