Getting F5 RDP Error on Mac and my RDP session ends
Hi I am using Macbook Pro with latest OS Yosemite. I use my Mac to login to my company's VPN. When I login to my VPN which is running on F5, I click on my Remote dektop. I log in fine. Then suddenly i get a pop up saying F5 RDP Error, java.net.SocketException lose my RDP connection.
I tried following a suggestion of editing /etc/hosts file on my Mac but still this keeps on happenng.
Is it something related to F5 or my Oracle Java on my Mac?
Any help from experts here is appreciated.
Thanks Kewlclassic.

Have you tried enabling the Java console and see if you can enable verbose logging and see if any log messages can help further understand the problem that's occurring? And what version of Java are you using on your Mac? And what version of the BIG-IP are you running?
Also, have you tried opening a support ticket for this issue? They may be able to help as well.

Make sure you have the latest version of Java installed on the Mac. Make sure that Java support is enabled on the VS. Make sure you set the RDP resource to use Java.
Other than that, that is all you should need to establish a RDP connection.
