FTP Protocol Security blocking connection

I am building a VS for FTP. When I have the FTP Protocol Security disabled I am able to connect to the FTP server with no problems. When I enable the FTP Protocol Security I am no longer able to connect. In the FTP security profile I first unchecked all block and then unchecked all alarms. Even with all security options unchecked I am still not able to connect while FTP Protocol Security profile is enabled. As soon as FTP Protocol Security profile is removed from the VS I am able to connect again. Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Hi Kees van den Bos - thanks for the reply. I found the issue just a couple of minutes ago. Under Local Traffic --> Profiles --> Services --> FTP I had "Inherit Parent Profile" checked under the FTP service I had created. I unchecked this box and I am now able to connect to the FTP VIP with the FTP Protocol Security enabled.

    That's great. Indeed, parent child relation can sometime add strange behaviour to the big-ip.
