Forwarding queries to other DNS systems

If you are configuring the listner to forward queries to a DNS server,you should give the listener the IP address as that DNS server,and the listener's associated DNS profile show have the **Use BIND Server on BIG-IP** option set to **disabled**

    Correct.

     

    • The listener IP address should be the IP address of the local DNS server.
    • The DNS profile associated with the listener must have 'Use BIND Server on BIG-IP' disabled.
