I used below irule from below discussion on DEV central , but it is not working for me.
when HTTP_RESPONSE { HTTP::header insert "X-UA-Compatible" "IE=Edge" }

Have you checked out any of the possible reasons outlined here?
KJ_50941going directly to server works fine, however using F5 url doesn't fall to "Edge" .

can you see what the response looks like on the client side when coming from the F5, including the headers and all? (you could use something like fiddler to see the network traffic on the client, or the debug tools in your browser)
