First time using bigsuds

Trying to create a python bigsuds script to list interface status and then disable those interfaces. I am able to get the list of interfaces with Networking.Interfaces.get_list, but when I try to get anything else documented in wiki:icontrol, I get errors for example Networking.Interfaces.get_enabled_state()

What am I missing???
