Never upgrade online as I highly doubt the firepass has access to the f5 download section. Even if you did, it's not a good idea.

 

 

Download the version upgrade or hotfix from https://downloads.f5.com/esd/productlines.jsp

 

 

Once downloaded, click on maintenance -> Local Update -> Put in the password for the hotfix (listed in the readme) and browse to the file.
