Jan 06, 2008FirePass Network Access on Nokia n810?
It's running Debian-based Linux and a Mozilla-based browser but I can't seem to get the FirePass plugin to work. When I click on a Network Access link on webtop, I just get the popup saying connecting 0% and that's it. I tried installing the plugin manually with no luck. Has anyone had any experience with this? Does anyone know of a detailed installation/troubleshooting guide for the FirePass plugin on Linux?
Thanks

- Colin_Walker_12Historic F5 AccountDoes the device have any sort of logging enabled that you might be able to view? I'd check there as well as the access logs on the FirePass to see if there is any kind of error being thrown that's stopping the connection from being properly established.

Sure:
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library
/usr/local/firefox/plugins/np_F5_SSL_VPN.so
[/usr/local/firefox/plugins/np_F5_SSL_VPN.so: cannot open shared object
file: No such file or directory]
I've decided that this is probably due to the fact that the plugin is compiled for x86 devices. The n810 is ARM-based. Maybe F5 will build a FirePass client for ARM-based devices one day. Until then, I'm stuck with FirePass Portal access and the open-source vpnc for IPSec access through one of our Cisco devices.
Thanks for your response.

where did you get the np_F5_SSL_VPN.so plugin from?
