Firepass Mobile End Point Inspection

I am trying to find out what I can use for pre-logon inspection for mobile devices. I have been unsuccessful at using the registry check, file check, and many of the session variables are not populated or relevant for mobile. Does anyone have some ideas on what inspections might work other than just verifying the OS?

 

 

We are using WM5 and WM6 devices.

    Hi Angela,

     

     

    If you do an OS Check action first you'll see that FirePass branches Windows Mobile devices separately from "Windows NT" based devices. Given that the client side checks for Windows are mostly ActiveX based (ie: platform/CPU specific) then i'd suggest none of the client side checks would work on a Windows Mobile device.

    Most mobile devices come up as WinCE or unknown for OS type. Create master group for that session variable and you are done.
