Firepass, IP Telephony, Qos, ADSL and BIG-IP

Hi guys,

 

 

I have a demand to implement remote contact center agents, extending LAN applications (voice and data) to home workers through Firepass.

 

 

We need to allow the service provider, owner of the ADSL to the user, to shape traffic through QoS.

 

 

As we do not see how can the Firepass control QoS itself, we thought, for that, to offload SSL from Firepass to a bigip, and then make the big-ip analyse the traffic content to mark with a QoS voice traffic, and another QoS data traffic, and rate shape also both types of traffic.

 

 

Can you think of a better solution?
