Firepass 6.1 - OPSWAT 3.4.7.1 - Windows 7 hotfixes not Detected

From what I understand, Windows 7 is supported on Firepass 6.1, however, the firepass does not appear to be detecting installed hotfixes. I am running the most recent OPSWAT module, 3.4.7.1 and have my pre-logon sequence configured to check for Win7 and Win764 with Extended Windows and IE Info. I am also saving the users session variables in the logon reports.

After logging in with a fully patch Win7 32bit box, the logon report shows that it appears to detect the OS version properly, all of my Antivirus info is detected properly, but the OS an IE patches are not detected....

Has anybody seen this...I searched the F5 site, but did not see any reference to problems with the extended os and ie checker nor did I see any indications that this level of checking was not supported on Windows 7.

Session Variable %session.win_info.os_version%= ' Win7 '

Session Variable %session.win_info.hotfixes.count%= ' 0 '

Session Variable %session.win_info.hotfixes.hf_list%= ' '

Session Variable %session.ie_info.browser%= ' InternetExplorer '

Session Variable %session.ie_info.version%= ' 8.0.7600.16385IE8 '

Session Variable %session.ie_info.hotfixes.count%= ' 1 '

Session Variable %session.ie_info.hotfixes.hf_0%= ' '

  • Just FYI - We opened a support ticket and this was fixed in the latest cumulative hotfix, "Cumulative HF-610-1".
