We are implementing VS for file share service SMB, and would like to know the best approach for the setup.
Since the system owner would like to have mirror connection toward the servers (nodes)...

user -> LTM VP -> traffic will be sent to both nodes same copy.
Is it applicable?
No. The LTM directs traffic from the client to one of the available pool members, not multiple members.
There is a clone pool feature that does copy packets directed to a pool member, but this is for passive packet monitoring (Intrusion detection or capture), and cannot be used for traffic replication of the type you seem to expect.
