Failure syncing, cant find SSL CertKeyChain and some other stuff

Hi

Today we cant synchronize from device 1 to device 2. Status:Sync Failed Summary:A validation error occurred while syncing to a remote device Details:Sync error on device2: Load failed from device1l 01020036:3: The requested ClientSSL CertKeyChain Entry (Exchange_Outside_SSL Exchange_Outside) was not found.

Log also says this: Virtual server /Common/Exchange_Outside_AS.app/Exchange_Outside_AS_combined_http lists duplicate profiles.

Yesterday i did 3 things.

  1. Imported the newest iAPPS template for Exchange.
  2. We had an allready configured Application Service for Exchange Outside, not in production yet. So after importing new template, I changed the settings of existing AS to use the new template and made some minor modifications to it. And updated.
  3. The certificate used in step 3 was missing intermidiate cert, so I added it to the SSL profile. (intermediate cert was already installed)

So, I disabled strict updates on Device1 (online) and tried to update device 2 again. Now, Last sync failed summary says "missing https monitor on device2" for the same exchange outside AS.

Help? :)

  • Deleted the Application Service in question on device1 and its now synchronizing to device2 again.

  • Experienced today, Adding and removing the same application service, and then synchronizing, forces sync issues. Learning some best practices while working with LTM :) Some times I don't want to synchronize right away, since possible errors might not turn up before next working day and its faster to redo the changes. But it seems to work better with the least amount of changes possible before synchronizing, so something to consider in the future.
